To My Wryte Stuff Family,
It has been a long while since I have posted anything and i really have missed the interaction and dialogue here at Wryte Stuff. My absence was caused by, to a great extent, the death of my younger brother. He was shot 21 times on the streets of Chicago on September 13th of last year. it was the third death in my family that I experienced in 2011.
To make a long story short, my health had already been very poor and these circumstances made matters worse. The grieving also produced a kind of (the best I can explain it) emotional and spiritual laryngitis. I hope to return to writing more in the coming days and weeks, because writing, for me, has always been extremely therapeutic and cleansing.
I thank all of you who have kept me in your thoughts and prayers.
God bless you all,
Edward Rhymes
